Old Posts Manager

You already know that we have recently changed how posts look on the Sugarfans timeline and that we have a new tool for publishing them. But what about the posts you published before we launched these changes?

From now on, you will find a section in your user menu where you can review each of those old posts one by one and update them to the new Sugarfans format. And once you have finished updating them all, you will no longer need this feature and it will disappear from your menu.

How does it work for each of the three types of posts? Basically the same way as our Post Creator. Let’s review it:

Subscription Posts

If you have photos available for your subscribers, the timeline carousel disappears. Now a photo will be displayed as the post cover along with a View photos button to view all the post content in fullscreen.

You can choose which photo of the post you want as the cover. If you don’t choose any, the first photo of the post will be displayed by default.

You can add blur to the photo you have chosen for the cover, but not to those inside the post since you uploaded them before this option existed.

On the other hand, if you have subscriber videos, you can select a snapshot taken from your own video and apply blur to a chosen area.

Paid Posts with Photos

Here, the first image of the post will be displayed with total blur and adapted to the new design.

You will be able to choose an image to be the cover and apply blur to it.

Paid Videos

If the post contains a paid video with a duration of less than 90 seconds, you can choose a frame of the video as a thumbnail and add blur.

If, on the other hand, the post contains a paid video with a duration longer than 90 seconds, you will be able to choose a fragment of the video as a preview of 10 to 15 seconds.

Free Posts

This type of post has not changed, so it will not appear in the tool.
